Water Survival Box - Clean drinking water in disaster areas (2022/23)

Friday, July 1, 2022

At the beginning of the presidential year, the war in Ukraine, which broke out on 24 February 2022, was at the centre of public interest. Barely a year later, areas of Turkey and Syria were rocked by a violent earthquake.

In both cases, Water Survival Box provides sustainable and unbureaucratic aid.

The Water Survival Box is a survival kit that provides immediate and long-term aid to people in need due to a natural disaster. Disaster victims are faced with the ruins of their existence, the water supply collapses and they often lose all their belongings. In this emergency situation, polluted water poses another danger, as it contains germs and bacteria that can cause life-threatening diseases.

The core of the Water Survival Box is therefore a specially developed water filter that enables families to independently purify drinkable, virus- and bacteria-free water over a period of five years and spares them additional suffering from waterborne diseases.
